ShowRecorder
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
ShowRecorder is an app by Eric Dahl for recording a mixer's channels on iPhone, iPad and Mac. This page explains what it does with your information. In short: nothing leaves your device.
What ShowRecorder collects
Nothing. ShowRecorder has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it sends no data to the developer or to anyone else.
Your recordings
Recordings, Markers, channel names and Show reports are stored only on your device and on the drive or folder you choose. They are shared only when you share them yourself, for example with AirDrop or the Files app.
Microphone
ShowRecorder asks for microphone access because that is how iOS and macOS let an app record from any audio input, including a USB audio interface or a mixer. Audio is used only to make your recordings and to show the level meters.
Local network
ShowRecorder can connect to your mixer on the local network to read its channel names and colors. It talks only to the mixer address you enter, and only on your local network.
In-app purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. The developer does not receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information.
Children
ShowRecorder does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
